The Sigma 17-35mm f2.8 EX aspherical HSM lens combines a fast f2.8-f4 maximum aperture with an ultra-wide-angle zoom of 17-35mm. Also, by incorporating aspherical lens elements in the front and rear lens groups, it corrects spherical aberration that could distort your images. The internal focusing system prevents the deterioration of optical quality when you are at a close distance to your subject, and it eliminates the rotation of the front barrel during focusing. The AF drive comes equipped with a silent, responsive hypersonic motor that lets you photograph your subjects without disturbing them. This lets you capture amazing wildlife shots without the noise of an ordinary AF lens. The lens materials used in this new lens are lead-free and arsenic-free ecological glass. This model is dedicated to Canon AF SLR cameras.
