This Vivitar 2x Teleconverter is the ideal accessory for any photographer looking to get closer to the action and capture distant images. With this simple attachment, you'll be able to double the focal length of any lens, making it much easier to photograph far away subjects. In addition, because the depth of field is cut in half, this Teleconverter will make it easy to achieve sharp focus with attractive background blur. This Teleconverter contains seven precision-crafted elements for high-quality image resolution, reduction of internal reflection, and minimal flare. In addition, AF operation is maintained on most cameras when the attached lens has an aperture of f/3.5 or faster. Otherwise, this Teleconverter can be used in MF mode.
